Crockenhill Baptist Church

A friendly, Bible believing church just outside Swanley.

Worshipping God

We meet to worship God together as a church every Sunday at 10:30am. Services involve reading the Bible, praying, singing and hearing God's word preached. We're currently looking at Jesus' "Sermon on the Mount" from Matthew chapters 5-7.

We are still conscious of the risk of coronavirus so we will continue to keep as much ventilation as possible and keep a level of social distancing inside the church. Masks are no longer required, but feel free to wear one if you like. We hope you'll be able to join us.

If you're stuck at home with coronavirus don't worry – we will still be streaming our services on our YouTube channel from 10:30am on Sundays.

Strengthening believers

We want to continue to grow in our faith: becoming closer to God as the Holy Spirit makes us more like Jesus.

We have a Sunday evening meeting at 6:30pm.

The main focus of this meeting is prayer, although Mark brings a shorter message and we sing a hymn or two. Mark is currently preaching through the life of Elijah.

We meet weekly in small groups for Bible study and prayer.

There are groups on Tuesday afternoons, and Wednesday or Thursday evenings. We'd love you to join one: do get in touch.

Proclaiming the good news of Jesus Christ to all

We're eager to tell people about Jesus, even if we can't run our usual activities. After all, Christianity is good news:

If you've got questions, do get in touch using the details below. We'd love to listen.

We are considering how best to re-start our regular activities. This is unlikely to happen in September due to a combination of coronavirus uncertainty, the planning we need to do, and the fact that we're about to carry out major works to make our building more accessible.
