How Crockenhill Baptist Church (“we”) use your information

We hold your data for varying lengths of time depending on the type of information in question but in doing so we always comply with Data Protection legislation. Security of your data
We have put in place appropriate security measures to prevent your personal data from being accidentally lost, used or accessed in an unauthorised way, altered or disclosed. In addition, we limit access to your personal data to those employees or trustees who need to know. They will only process your personal data on our instructions.
We have put in place procedures to deal with any suspected personal data breach and will notify you and the ICO where we are legally required to do so.

Data Protection Complaints Process
Crockenhill Baptist Church (“we”) take your privacy concerns seriously. If you have any concerns about the way your information is being handled, please contact Jill Clarridge without delay. Jill can be contacted at firstname.lastname@example.org.
We will carefully investigate and review all complaints and take appropriate action in accordance with Data Protection Legislation. We will keep you informed of the progress of our investigation and the outcome. If you are not satisfied with the outcome, you may wish to contact the Information Commissioner’s Office at https://ico.org.uk/concerns/.
Any complaint received by us must be referred to Jill Clarridge who will arrange for an investigation as follows:
- A record will be made of the details of the complaint.
- Consideration will be given as to whether the circumstances amount to a breach of Data Protection Legislation and action taken in accordance with the Data Breach Procedure.
- The complainant will be kept informed of the progress of the complaint and of the outcome of the investigation.
- At the conclusion of the investigation Jill will reflect on the circumstances and recommend any improvements to systems or procedures.
No personal data is stored by the website. We only monitor what pages are viewed by what browsers, and the rough area the user is in.
User Detail Cookies
We use some cookies to enable your use of the site. These are: "complianceCookie", which records your cookie preferences; "admin_auth", which allows administrators to log in; and "laravel_session", which allows members to log in and forms to be submitted.
We use other cookies to help us monitor the site. This is always done anonymously. Monitoring the site helps us to improve it. These cookies are: "_ga"; which is the Google Analytics cookie. This sends information about how the user uses the site to Google Analytics, which we can use to get a picture of what people are looking at.
