- Trials are appointed by God for a reason
- Some of the reasons why trials come:
- To chastise/discipline us
- To prepare us for something
- To teach us to humbly lean on God
- To mature/perfect us
- To show the genuineness of our fauth
- Consolation and encouragement as we face trials
- Trials are not permanent
- God knows what we can bear
- Grace is always available
- We can still rejoice
